A favorite quote states, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’. Here in Castleton, Vermont that rings clearly. Located in the heart of the village, the seventh and eighth graders enter our school from the elementary school. Our school is located on Mechanic Street and is easily accessible from the village and students are within walking distance to the Town offices and Castleton State College. Castleton Village School is a school that embraces the ‘whole’ middle school student. We take pride in the caring and nurturing of each and every student. Our dedicated faculty and staff respect each child and guide them to reaching their best. With a top rate faculty and a supportive staff, there is no limit to the achievements of our students. Our programs offer a rigorous curriculum that is relevant to today’s students. Excellence in education cannot be achieved alone. Castleton Village School is known as a caring school environment because of our wonderful students, dedicated professionals and staff, and the great support of parents. The Castleton community is supportive and committed to achieving the very best for our students. After all it does take a whole village to raise a child.
